We‘d like to share a very special event with you: The 6th Annual Corks & Forks Event to benefit Heritage Centers of Buffalo.
Heritage Centers directly supports children and adults with developmental disabilities here in Erie county. They believe that everyone deserves an enriched and meaningful life, and their services support over 3,000 people with developmental disabilities in WNY. From education to work programs to assisted living and family support services, Heritage Centers provides essential “quality of life” programming, which is not otherwise publicly funded.
Corks & Forks is a wonderful evening of food and wine pairings from 30 different restaurants and wineries, and bidding on over 200 fabulous prizes. It’s like going on a wine tour without leaving the town! Join us on Thursday, October 11th from 6-9pm at the Buffalo Convention Center for and evening of fine wine and fine food to benefit a great cause. Tickets are only $60/each and include free parking.
If you can‘t make Corks & Forks, you can still get in on the fun. There is a raffle for a trip for two to Italy, which includes roundtrip airfare and six luxurious 6 nights at Aldrovandi Villa Borghese in Rome! This season, Zenger Group employees are rallying to support Coats for Kids and Operation Warm. The organizations have partnered to distribute as many coats, gloves, hats and scarves to as many children need as possible this winter. Donations are coordinated through the Saint Vincent de Paul Society of Buffalo, so gather up your old coats (and your friends’ coats, too!), then be sure to check them out on Facebook for donation centers, distribution centers, and volunteer opportunities in your neighborhood.
